"Behold children are a gift from the Lord" Psalm 127:3
This week is Student Photo Week at Not Back to School Blog Hop hosted by Darcy at Heart of the Matter.
So here is our family
Squirt- she is our 4th grader, sweet ballerina, helpful big sister, tender hearted, big hugger, loves pink, girlie girl, loves to sing, loves to draw, loves to write stories, and do things for others.
But most of all she loves Jesus and belongs to Him. She is learning to live by His Power in her life and learning to love even when it is difficult.
She is our second daughter. Her sister was born one year prior with ARPKD and lived for an hour. Squirt was our first miracle child. The doctors told us that they didn't recommend us having any more children. We trusted God instead of doctors. She was born perfectly normal and healthy in every way. And she was not the last of our children!
Buddy- 4 years old, preschooler, loves books, Curious George, music, humming and singing, extremely gifted, loves to build with blocks and teach his stuffed animals Sunday School lessons.
He has multiple complex food allergies as well as environmental allergies. Spring is the worst time of year for him. He is the reason I started blogging and you can find out more about our journey with his food allergies here. He has had great challenges dealing with the physical and emotional issues brought on by such extensive allergies but he has made tremendous progress physically since his diagnosis in January 2010. He has grown over 1 1/2 inches since January which is amazing for this little guy!
He is our second miracle baby. I was on 10 weeks of bed rest with him and we are thankful to have him as a son. He is our second son (but fourth child in birth order). His older brother was born two years before but was stillborn. He loves to paint and get involved in any school activity he can.
Then there is-
BUBBA!
Bubba- Our third miracle baby and third son. 21 months old he is active and into everything. He runs everywhere and loves to play with his Sissy and Brother. I could just eat those chubby little cheeks. He is ALL BOY! He talks a lot, and is in the middle of everything.
He is sweet and easy going. He loves hats. He may just eat me out of house and home one of these days. He loves trucks and anything that makes a noise. He has an amazing sense of rhythm and pitch. He may be our percussionist and singer one day, but I bet he will drive a really big truck!
So there are our three blessings.
Life is not easy or quiet at our house. But we praise God for every minute we have with our family. "Behold children are a gift from the Lord" Psalm 127:3
What a sweet family you have- they truly are gifts from the Lord!!
